Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how NW OpsBridge Automations ("AfterJob," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the AfterJob website, application, and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and password (passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see them in plain text).
- Business profile — your business name, industry, contact details, branding, and review links.
- Job & Client information you enter — the names, email addresses, and phone numbers of your customers; job descriptions; line items and amounts; and any invoice files you upload.
- Content — messages, ratings, and reviews exchanged through a job link.
- Payment information — your subscription billing is handled by Stripe; we receive limited details (such as your subscription status and the last four digits of a card) but never your full card number.
- Usage & device data — basic, privacy-conscious analytics about how the Service is used (we record event types and bucketed amounts, not your Clients' names or contact details).
2. How we use information
We use information to provide and operate the Service (creating job links, delivering them, processing ratings and referrals, and generating receipts), to read and structure invoice files you upload, to send transactional emails and notifications, to take payment for subscriptions, to provide support, to keep the Service secure, and to comply with law. We do not use your data or your Clients' data for advertising.
3. Service providers we share with
We share information only with the providers we rely on to run the Service:
- Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
- Brevo — delivery of transactional emails (job links, notifications, receipts).
- Google Firebase & Google Cloud — authentication, database (Firestore), and file storage for uploaded invoices.
- Anthropic — when you upload an invoice or use the AI messaging assistant, the relevant file or message content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to extract structured details or draft a reply.
- PostHog — product analytics that help us understand how the Service is used in aggregate (page views, feature usage, and where users drop off) so we can improve it. PostHog sets a first-party cookie to recognize a browser across visits; we configure it to minimize personal data and do not use it for advertising.
We do not sell your personal information or your Clients' personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, and we may transfer it as part of a merger or acquisition.
4. Your Clients' data
When you enter your Clients' information, you are the party responsible for it (the "controller") and AfterJob processes it on your behalf to provide the Service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and share that information and for honoring your Clients' privacy requests. If a Client contacts us directly, we will refer them to the business that created their job link.
5. Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, unless we must retain it to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.
6. Your rights & choices
You may access, correct, export, or delete your information. Depending on where you live (for example, California or Washington), you may have additional rights to know what we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To make a request, email hello@afterjob.co and we will respond within a reasonable time (and within any period required by law). You can also stop providing information by closing your account.
7. Cookies & analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service, and limited, privacy-conscious analytics to understand usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
8. Security
We use reputable infrastructure (Google Cloud) and industry-standard measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
