Terms of Service

Last updated: June 15, 2026

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a legal agreement between you and NW OpsBridge Automations ("AfterJob," "we," "us," or "our") and govern your access to and use of the AfterJob website, application, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

AfterJob helps service businesses create shareable links that let their customers ("Clients") view a job, make a payment through the business's own payment provider, leave a rating, and refer others. AfterJob does not process or hold payments itself — payments are made directly between you and your Clients through the third-party payment methods you choose (for example Venmo, PayPal, CashApp, or Zelle).

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions, billing & renewals

AfterJob offers a free tier and one or more paid tiers. The features and price of each tier are shown at sign-up and at checkout. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly unless stated otherwise) and renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. Payments for subscriptions are processed by our payment processor, Stripe; by subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms.

4. Cancellation & refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard (via the billing portal). When you cancel, your paid features remain active through the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again. Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods or unused time. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review it in good faith.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • send spam, deceptive, or fraudulent messages, invoices, or payment requests;
  • upload content you do not have the right to use, or anyone's personal information without a lawful basis;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; or
  • resell or misrepresent the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Your content & your Clients' data

You retain ownership of the business and Client information you put into the Service (such as Client names, contact details, job descriptions, invoice files, and messages). You grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for having the right to provide your Clients' information and for using it lawfully, including providing any notices and obtaining any consents required in your jurisdiction. With respect to your Clients' personal data, you act as the controller and AfterJob acts as your processor.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, including Stripe (subscription billing), Brevo (email delivery), Google Firebase and Google Cloud (authentication, database, and file storage), and Anthropic (AI-assisted invoice reading and messaging). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions. Payment platforms you connect for your Clients (Venmo, PayPal, etc.) are likewise independent of AfterJob.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by AfterJob and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service per these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any AI-generated output (such as extracted invoice fields) will be accurate — you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AfterJob and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim or US $100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AfterJob from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your content, your use of the Service, your dealings with your Clients, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Washington will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you consent to venue there.
